My firewire has always been very reliable. I get a partial lock dct600 a select few of my premium chans with boxes in broadcast mode at mbps i have 3x tuners in total using the dct in a daisy chain with the dcx at the end of the chain.

Calgary appears to apply 5C encryption based on the program, not necessarily the channel.
