Asus A7N8X audio *problem*? - TechSpot Forums
I tried to loosen the screws on audoo motherboard to readjust it since it was a little off center but that didn't work. Join the community hereit only takes a minute. Already have an account? Gotta say though, besides this problem i think the motherboard is pretty good.

Your name or email address: I've heard of others not getting any sound. Again, I don't understand how a driver problem might affect only rear panel and not front panel, but updating your sound driver is recommended regardless. I also use an Audigy 2 ZS because the onboard made poping noises but now it seems the audigy is too. I really can't think of anything unless the information you have x7n8x is somehow incorrect or not complete.
All the While i thought Siggers sound was on-board??? So I guess auxio it plugged in the middle port is right.
I had gutted my old PC and had it running for two months. At least some motherboards with onboard sound can only output to the back or the front but not both. Join thousands of tech enthusiasts and participate.
The reason I ask is because I have never been able to record sound without interference if at all. It would also be very coincidental since it happened once you reinstalled Windows. It wouldn't be the first damaged audio jack I've seen. But of course, I don't have much experience with anything new than Audigy which is a few years old.
I'm not exactly sure what you mean by powersafe.

Uadio though for the info: I have the Rev 2 A7N8X board with v I've noticed this card is very sensitive to high speed fans in its vicinity. Join the community here. Take a moment to think of the variety of things which would make a speaker-out jack not work on a working sound card
